JAMES BIRKETT Product Design BA - First Class Degree With Honours

The shoe project was a third year project which was run in conjunction with 2SQUARED which is a shoe design consultancy, we were split into different groups which were each given specific price points or a specific brand to design for (although we were each designing individualy).

Further down the line after a few meetings with the company it was decided that I would be designing a shoe based on a vulcanized rubber sole, similar to ones used on skate shoes. The final product which came from the project was a triple black skate shoe with a sock based construction built for comfort as well as flexability.
